As New York welcomes the iconic Argentine tall ship "ARA Libertad" as part of the Regatta 250 celebrations commemorating the 250th anniversary of Declaration of Independence of the the United States, the Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York is pleased to present "Testimonies from On Board the ARA Libertad", a photography exhibition by renowned Argentine photographer Guillermo Hariyo.
Through a remarkable collection of images captured aboard Argentina’s flagship training vessel, the exhibition offers a unique glimpse into life at sea, the traditions of naval formation, and the experiences of the officers and cadets who sail aboard one of the world’s most celebrated tall ships.
More than a photographic journey, the exhibition invites visitors to discover the stories, people, values, and spirit behind a vessel that has served as a symbol of Argentina around the world for over six decades. Free admission. Registration required.
Opening Tuesday July 7 - 6 to 8 pm
