Commonly used by Argentine citizens or permanent residents who are moving back to Argentina.

To obtain a Residence Certificate the applicant must appear in person before the Consulate. An appointment must be arranged in advanced by calling from Monday to Friday between 9AM and 1PM and 2PM to 5PM to (212) 603-0400, extension 2.

This certificate may be presented to any authority that may require it, including the Inland Revenue (AFIP) and customs authorities of Argentina.
