Fancy Food Show 2014

During June 29th and July 1st, Argentina participated with a National Pavilion at the Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center in New York City.

The Fancy Food Show is considered the most important tradeshow in the U.S. for the gourmet food and beverage industry. According to the organizers, the event had 2,400 exhibitors from 80 countries and regions.

The 21 Argentine companies/institutions that  participated at the National Pavilion were:  AIMURAI S.A.; AISA CHIA; ALEMAR S.A.; ARGENTINA OLIVE GROUP; ARGENTINE YERBA MATE; ESTABLECIMIENTOS SAN IGNACIO S.A.; ESTUDIO LOPEZ IBARRA; EXPOFRESH S.A.; FALABELLA EXPORTA; GOTA WATER S.A.; KINGBERRY S.A.; LA RETAMA S.R.L.; LA VOLUNTAD S.A.; LAS MARTINETAS S.R.L.; MIDITERRA S.A.; MINISTRY OF PRODUCTION, SCIENCE AND TECNOLOGY OF THE PROVINCE  OF BUENOS AIRES; MOYCO R.L. (Azucel); PRODUCTOS FERRARIS S.R.L.; SNACK CROPS S.A.; TRILOGIA; INSTITUTE OF PRODUCTIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROVINCE OF TUCUMAN.

Alongside the Tradeshow, the EXPORTAR Foundation implemented, for the first time, an innovative marketing tool: a "Food Truck" with the image of Argentina which drove around the most representative streets of New York City. The Food Truck offered the possibility of tasting Argentine food (more information on the food truck can be found in the section “News ”).

The Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the EXPORTAR Foundation and the Argentine Consulate in New York organized this event.
