Charly García Corner, Unveiling Ceremony.
In November 2023, the 40th anniversary of the release of the album “Clics Modernos” by Charly García will be commemorated. For the Argentine community and the international artistic community, it is a masterpiece of Latin American music by one of the most influential Argentine artists of Argentine and Latin American rock. The album "Clics Modernos" was recorded in New York City, and on its cover it has a photo of Charly García on a corner of the Manhattan district: Walker St. and Cortlandt Alley, in the China Town neighborhood.
To commemorate this date, and with the aim that Charly García and all of his followers have a place of reference in New York City, which becomes a kind of Abbey Road for lovers of his music, we will hold a Co-Naming Ceremony and Plaque unveiling in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the release of Charly García's album "Clics Modernos".
