A presentation and tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Yerba Mate from Argentina was held at the Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York on June 29th, 2015.

The presentation of the production and commercial potential of extra virgin olive oil from our country was done by Mr. Francisco Gobbee, and the expert Marina Elina Buffa organized a tasting of the most emblematic varieties of Argentine extra virgin olive oil.

Then the National Institute of Yerba Mate presented the productive aspects and benefits of the mate, followed by an active demonstration of the different forms of preparation adapted to the American market.

Afterwards, the guests had the opportunity of tasting other gourmet products from our country, such as olives, chutney and sauces, empanadas, churros and wines (products which had been exhibited during the participation of Argentina at the Fancy Food Show)
This event was organized by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Fundacion ExportAr and the General Consulate and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York.
