The celebration of the “Malbec World Day 2017” in New York took place at Balvanera Restaurant on April 27th. This event was specifically targeted to press, influencers and trade, and was one of the more than 40 events that happened around the world that pay tribute to Argentina’s Flagship grape variety. It consisted of a comparative tasting of Argentine wines by wine-maker Santiago Mayorga and a cocktail with gourmet dishes of the Argentine chef Fernando Navas.

During the tasting and sampling, 25 different wines were served. The participating wineries were: MARCELO PELLERITI WINES; JELU ESTATE; LUIGI BOSCA; FIN DEL MUNDO; COLOMÉ ESTATE; NIETO SENETINER; ALTA VISTA; EL ESTECO; WEINERT ESTRELLA; ESCORIHUELA; RICOMINCIARE; TAPIZ; KAIKEN; PROEMIO; TERRAZAS DE LOS ANDES; SOPHENIA; SALENTEIN; VIÑA COBOS; ABREMUNDOS; and MATILDE LAMADRID.

Wines of Argentina was in charge of the organization of the event with the support of the Argentine Consulate in New York.
