On the ocassion of the second visit to New York of the ARGENCON (first one was on November 2014), during April 21 and 22nd 2016, was organized at the Consulate the seminary “Argentina´s Position in the Knowledge Based Economy”. Participating as speakers: Ambassador Martín Lousteau, Chief Advisor to President Macri, Mr. Jose Torello, Under-Secretary of Technology Services, Mr. Carlos Pallotti and the Minister of Innovation, Technology & Modernization of Buenos Aires City, Mr. Andy Freire.  Representing the private sector Mr. Roberto Alvarez Roldán, President of Argencon. This seminar was held on the morning of April 22nd and the audience made up by local investors, business and consultants.

Other events of Argencon visit:
On the 21st a presentation at the Americas Society/ Council of the Americas under the name of “Argentina in the World, Successfully serving Global Clients”, were the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Susana Malcorra participated as a Guest of Honor.

On the evening of the 22nd at Columbia University, a Round Table “Accelerating Growth in Argentina Information Society”, were participated government representatives and argentine businessmen.
