"Gato y Mancha" is a program of Argentinian Folklore projection, that highlights Argentine musical folklore -other than tango- in an evening that mixes the popular and the academic.
With the Metropolitan Opera baritone Fabián Veloz giving voice to this program, arrangements by maestro Sebastian Fernández Cerri, and featuring bandoneón player Rodolfo Zanetti, harpist Adam Vásquez, a string quartet from teachers from a performing arts school in the Bronx, and the direction of Opera Hispánica General and Artistic director, maestro Jorge Parodi, this evening arrives at the Consulate General of Argentina in New York with the strength emanating from the deepest roots.
