In "Internal maps" exhibition, visual artist and psychologist Marcela Hoffer explores the healing power of art. In this series, she uses the creation of new shapes and forms derived from Argentine’s provincial symbols and icons. Through these circular forms, she explores her Argentine heritage, particularly inner distances, opening space for wholeness, balance, and transformation.
Marcela was born and raised in Buenos Aires, and moved to New York City as a young adult. Her project deconstructs familiar Argentine forms and reassembles them into emergent ones. The work creates a contemplative space in which perception can soften, allowing insight, integration, and embodied understanding.
