We were honored to participate in a panel at the Hudson County Latin American Chamber of Commerce, NJ (HCLACC) World Trade Month Celebration to promote Argentina as a key trade partner to the United States.
Presentations and highlights were offered by an expert panel integrated by distinguished members, such as Brian Beams, with the International Trade Administration of the United States, Abby Martinez, with the Office of International Trade US Small Business Administration, and William Spear, with the Office Export Promotion New Jersey; who recognized the significance of international trade to the economy of the United States, and the benefits of global business.
Consul General Gerardo (Gerry) Diaz Bartolome presented on Argentina's promising landscape for trade and international investments, highlighting:
- The fact that Argentina is one of the most competitive hubs and dynamic economies in Latin America.
- The strategic partnership with the US, driven by a talented and skilled population in tech and innovation.
- Argentina stands out as the third-largest economy and FDI recipient in Latin America, and is the US is the largest direct investor and third-largest trading partner.
