7th ANNUAL NEIGHBORING SCENES

Neighboring Scenes and Cinema Tropical’s annual wide-ranging showcase of contemporary Latin American cinema, is returning in-person from February 24–28, 2022, at the Lincoln Center!  
Organized by Carlos A. Gutiérrez and Cecilia Barrionuevo, featuring established auteurs as well as fresh talent from the international festival scene.

This year, from ARGENTINA:

-    RED STAR (ESTRELLA ROJA, 2021), documentary by Sofia Bordenave. February 26, 4pm, film and Q&A with the Director.

-    SLINTERS, (ESQUIRLAS, 2020), documentary by Natalia Garayalde . February 27, 6.15pm, film and Q&A with the Director.

-    THE EMPLOYER AND THE EMPLOYEE (EL EMPLEADO Y EL PATRON, 2021), starring Nahuel Perez Biscayart. 28 de Febrero, 8.45pm.

-    LIGHT TRAP, (TRAMPA DE LUZ, 2021) short of Pablo Marein. 27 de Febrero, 6.15pm.
