The Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York is pleased to invite to the opening of “A través del espacio” an immersive installation by Argentine artist Cristian Damian Gonzalez Lahmann, curated by Maria T. Huang.

The exhibition offers a journey through Argentina’s landscapes and expansive skies, envisioned as a sensitive map where memory, nature, and contemplation intertwine. Inspired by the vastness of the Argentine territory, the project creates a dialogue between the local and the universal, and between the human and the cosmic, through organic forms, lines, and vibrant colors.

The paintings evoke the landscapes and colors of the Puna, Patagonia, the Pampas, the Litoral region, and Buenos Aires, accompanied by poems that amplify the voice of each territory. A projection and a virtual reality station expand the experience toward new horizons, while the eponymous poetry book, published in Spanish and English, completes the interdisciplinary dimension of the project.
