Argentina Tech Hub Marks a Successful Debut at NY Tech Week 2026

From June 1–5, 2026, the Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York hosted the first edition of Argentina Tech Hub, the only national technology hub featured in the official NY Tech Week program. Over the course of five days, the initiative brought together founders, investors, corporations, startups, scaleups, accelerators, institutions, and technology leaders from Argentina, the United States, and other international markets.

The initiative brought together 43 Argentine companies and 76 speakers, investors, founders, and ecosystem representatives, while attracting more than 700 participants through a program of over 40 events and activities. The agenda included panels, pitch sessions, fireside chats, technology demonstrations, networking events, and matchmaking meetings aimed at strengthening links between Argentine companies and international stakeholders.

The initiative was led by the Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic, with the support of ARGENCON, CESSI, ARCAP, and the Argentine Fintech Chamber. Its objective was to promote Argentina’s capabilities in innovation, entrepreneurship, and the Knowledge Economy, while facilitating connections with investors, corporations, and strategic partners.

Throughout the week, participants addressed topics including artificial intelligence, fintech, venture capital, healthtech, agtech, cybersecurity, creative industries, and entrepreneurial innovation. The program provided a platform to showcase the diversity and capabilities of Argentina’s technology ecosystem and to foster dialogue on emerging trends and opportunities for international collaboration.

A distinctive feature of the initiative was that Argentina was the only country to establish a coordinated national platform within the official NY Tech Week agenda. Through Argentina Tech Hub, Argentine companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem organizations participated in a shared platform designed to enhance international visibility and generate opportunities for business development and collaboration.

Argentina Tech Week – Argentina Tech Hub highlighted the value of public-private collaboration in promoting Argentina’s innovation ecosystem and supporting the internationalization of the Knowledge Economy. The initiative generated new opportunities for engagement between Argentine companies and international stakeholders, while reinforcing Argentina’s presence within the global technology and innovation ecosystem.

The Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York is proud to have hosted this first edition of Argentina Tech Hub and to have contributed to showcasing the talent, creativity, and innovative capacity of Argentine companies and entrepreneurs. By bringing together key actors from Argentina and abroad, the initiative reinforced the Consulate’s role as a platform for building partnerships, promoting business opportunities, and strengthening Argentina’s presence in strategic sectors of the global economy.
