The Consulate General and Promotion Center of Argentina in New York will host a special piano concert by Argentine pianist Axel Quincke as part of the celebrations leading up to Argentina’s National Day.
Taking place during "May Week" to commemorate the 1810 May Revolution that led to Argentina's independence in 1816, the program will offer a journey through Argentina’s musical identity bringing together classical repertoire, contemporary works, and modern interpretations of iconic pieces. A special moment during the evening will mark a new chapter in the history and identity of our auditorium.
Born in Buenos Aires, Quincke is a multifaceted pianist recognized for blending classical music with improvisation and genres such as jazz, tango, Argentine folklore, blues, and rock. Trained under leading mentors in Argentina and later in Vienna, he has performed across Europe and the Americas, developing a distinctive voice that bridges tradition and innovation.
