The National Undersecretariat of Electric Energy of Argentina has announced the launch of a National and International Public Tender for the sale of shares in Compañía Inversora en Transmisión Eléctrica S.A. (CITELEC S.A.), offering investors a strategic opportunity to participate in one of the country’s most critical energy infrastructure assets.

CITELEC S.A. is the holding company of Transener S.A., Argentina’s main electricity transmission company. Through its high-voltage transmission network, Transener transports approximately 86% of the country’s electrical power.

The purpose of the tender is the transfer of the shareholding currently held by Energía Argentina S.A., which represents 50% of the total share capital of CITELEC S.A.
