The National Secretariat for Innovation, Science, and Technology has opened the call for applications for the 2025 edition of the RAICES and LELOIR Awards under the RAICES Program. 

The “Network of Argentine Researchers and Scientists Abroad” (RAICES) program aims to contribute to strengthening our country's scientific and technological capabilities through links with Argentine researchers living abroad, as well as promoting the retention of researchers in the country.

RAICES was recognized by the Honorable Congress of the Nation as a State Policy in 2008, through the enactment of Law 26,421.

The RAICES awards are intended for Argentine scientists, researchers, and technologists residing abroad who actively collaborate in strengthening the National System of Science, Technology, and Innovation.

The LELOIR awards are intended for foreign scientists, researchers, and technologists who have contributed to strengthening our country's scientific and technological capabilities.

The deadline for receiving applications is September 1, 2025.
