The Consulate General of Argentina in New York presents "CROSSINGS" Tides Series INGRID HAUBRICH

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina (1982), Ingrid Haubrich is a Modern Abstract Artist living in Almeria, Spain, where she studied Fine Arts. Her small coastal town called Aguadulce, provides the inspiration and calm she needs to face her work and motherhood.

For this exhibition, the artist has created a series of large-format works where the color blue takes center stage. This collection is an evolution of her "Tides Series", a visual symphony that captures the essence of water in an eternal dialogue with the environment. Each piece in this collection is a poem in itself, an ode to nature that

resonates with the depth and serenity of the oceans.

With her passionate mastery of color and texture, Haubrich invites us to immerse ourselves in a world where blues and sky tones intertwine like waves in motion, while ethereal whites hint at foam and mist.

This exhibition is not just an aesthetic celebration of water, but also a silent -yet active- cry for its protection. In every stroke and every layer of paint, one perceives the fragility of our marine environment, threatened by pollution and climate change. Haubrich’s works are mirrors that reflect our responsibility toward nature, urging us to contemplate and preserve the purity of our waters.

The connection between Tides and Argentina is both palpable and profound. From the shimmering glaciers of Patagonia to the winding rivers and serene lakes of the Pampas, each painting echoes the natural wonders of Argentina.

Thursday September 5th, 6:00pm.
