Argencon 2017

During the month of November, The Consulate of Argentina welcomed the ARGENCON delegation in their third visit to New York City.

On Monday November 6th, the delegation held a coordination meeting with the members of the delegation and the participation of Mateo Estrémé, Consul of Argentina in New York; Roberto Alvarez Roldán, President of Argencon; José Torello, Chief of Advisors to the President; Carlos Pallotti, Undersecretary of Technological Services of the Ministry of Production; Andrés Tahta, Vice President of the AAICI; and Luis Galeazzi, Executive Director of Argencon.

In the evening, there was a presentation on Argentina's digital economy at the Council of the Americas. The audience included media, businessmen and women, think tanks, and investors.

On Tuesday November 7th, the delegation travelled to Cambridge where they offered the seminar "Argentina Shaping the Digital Economy" at MIT University. Speakers included; Eduardo Garrido, MIT; John R. Williams, MIT; Sergio Kaufman, Accenture; José Luis Roces, ITBA; Luis Blando, McAfee; Federico Pienovi, Globant; Sergio Fernández Mena, YPF; Eduardo Martelli, Ministry of Modernization; Pablo Quirno, Foreign Ministry and Luis Galeazzi, Argencon, amongst others.
