Currently, due to seasonal high demand and the time required for processing, it is not possible to schedule tourist visa interview appointments for travel from the United States with departure dates before March 16, 2026.
As of January 15, 2026, permanent residence cards issued by the United States of America (“Green Cards”) shall be deemed valid and sufficient to authorize and facilitate entry into the National Territory for foreign nationals of the People’s Republic of China, the Dominican Republic, and the Republic of India, under the categories of “Tourist” and “Businesspersons”, without the need for a consular visa.
Nationals of the United States do not require visas to visit Argentina for tourism or family visit for a period not exceeding 90 days or for transit. (Check for other visas below).
(The payment of the reciprocity fee for American citizens has been suspended as of March 24, 2016)
