Within the context of the Consulate’s Cultural Program for 2014, the group show “Tango Visions” and the photography exhibition “What do you see?” by Nestor Diaz, opened on Thursday March 6th.
In the Library Room, Nestor Diaz presented 17 ink-jet photographs, in different sizes, depicting the rich color of the Andes landscape in Mendoza, Salta, and Jujuy. This exhibition intends to play with the observer’s imagination when interpreting the images.
The group show “Tango Visions” is shown at the Gallery Room, with works from the plastic artists: Roxy D’ Elía, Felisa Federman, Marcelo Novo, Miguel Perez Lem, Fabián H. Ríos Rubino, Claudia Samper, Susan Weidemann, and Sara Burlé. The exhibit includes pieces of figurative and abstract art, in different techniques: acrylic on canvas, oil on canvas, mix media, and photo print on metal.
Over a hundred people attended the opening night, including gallery representatives, press, and cultural institutions. The exhibitions will be open until March 27th.
