Last Thursday February 6th, the Consulate General of Argentina in New York held an opening reception for the exhibition of plastic artists Miriam Costanza and Amalia Amoedo, in the frame of the cultural program for 2014.

Amalia’s show, with pieces from the Series “The Color of My Life”, was exhibited at Gallery room. It consisted of 12 abstract paintings, in acrylic on canvas and mixed media on canvas with applications of different materials such as glitter, tulle, and semi-precious stones.

The Library room held Miriam Costanza’s geometric art series “Elemental”, with 30 pieces of acrylic on canvas, in various sizes, including a diptych of 78x57 inches each piece.
