“Investment Opportunities in the Province of Santa Fe”

On December 6th, the Governor of the Province of Santa Fe, Mr. Miguel Lifschitz,  authorities of the Province and members of the Agency "Santa Fe Global" gave a presentation on "Investment Opportunities in the Province of Santa Fe" at the Consulate of Argentina in New York.

The presentation focused on investment opportunities in the following sectors:

• Dairy
• Renewable Energies
• Bio-economy
• Car industry (sustainable mobility)
• Biotechnology
• TICs
• Infrastructure

Presentation on “Argentina´s National Plan of Transportation - PPP". 

On November 29th the presentation of specific transport projects developed under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme took place at the Consulate of Argentina in New York. The event welcomed a group of local investors and businessmen and women. The presentation featured the following speakers: Mr. Guillermo Dietrich, Minister of Transport;  Ms. Manuela López Menéndez, Secretary of Transport Construction; and Mr. Pablo Quirno, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Finance.

Presentation on Real Estate Investment Opportunities in Argentina (march, 2017)

On March 30th, the President of the Federal Real Estate Management Agency (AABE) Ramón Lanús, and the Executive Vice President of the Argentina Investment and Trade Promotion Agency offered a presentation, which took place at the Consulate of Argentina in New York. The presentation focused on real estate investment opportunities in Argentina and was titled "Landmark Real Estate Investment opportunities in Argentina". The event gathered potential investors as well as Real Estate specialists.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ARGENTINA BUSINESS & INVESTMENT FORUM

From September 12-15 2016, the city of Buenos Aires will host over 1500 global businessmen, investors and political leaders at the first “ARGENTINA BUSINESS & INVESTMENT FORUM”.

It will be a meeting place between businessmen, investors, national and international business leaders and government officials.

It will explore the vision and strategies of the government to stimulate economic sectors and review investment opportunities that promote inclusive and long-term growth.

ARGENCON

On the ocassion of the second visit to New York of the ARGENCON (first one was on November 2014), during April 21 and 22nd 2016, was organized at the Consulate the seminary “Argentina´s Position in the Knowledge Based Economy”. Participating as speakers: Ambassador Martín Lousteau, Chief Advisor to President Macri, Mr. Jose Torello, Under-Secretary of Technology Services, Mr. Carlos Pallotti and the Minister of Innovation, Technology & Modernization of Buenos Aires City, Mr. Andy Freire.  Representing the private sector Mr. Roberto Alvarez Roldán, President of Argencon. This seminar was held on the morning of April 22nd and the audience made up by local investors, business and consultants.

Other events of Argencon visit:
On the 21st a presentation at the Americas Society/ Council of the Americas under the name of “Argentina in the World, Successfully serving Global Clients”, were the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Susana Malcorra participated as a Guest of Honor.

On the evening of the 22nd at Columbia University, a Round Table “Accelerating Growth in Argentina Information Society”, were participated government representatives and argentine businessmen.

 

 

SEMINAR ON RENEWABLE ENERGY

On April 6th, the Argentine Undersecretary of Renewable Energy, Sebastian Kind, and the National Director for Renewable Energy, Mauro Soares, gave a seminar on “RENEWABLE ENERGY IN ARGENTINA. NEW REGULATORY FRAMEWORK AND OUTLOOK BEYOND 2016”. The event took place at the Consulate General of Argentina in New York and gathered a group of local companies and potential investors.

VISIT OF AMBASSADOR MARTIN LOUSTEAU TO NEW YORK

The following investment promotion activities took place during the visit of Ambassador Martin Lousteau to New York during March 8th – 10th:
-      -  Roundtables with executives of local financial firms at the Argentine Consulate in New York.
-       - Working lunch at the Americas Society / Council of the Americas.
-       - Working breakfast organized by the American Foreign Law Association; the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (Inter-American Affairs Committee); and the International Section of the New York State Bar Association.
-      -  Meeting with authorities and members of the Argentine-American Chamber of Commerce.  
- Cocktail with Argentine executives working in Wall Street at the Argentine Consulate in New York.
